Hey all, something a little different than usual but I hope you enjoyed it! Learned a lot in this class. Given the choice, obviously I would've made a car or bike-specific video for my final, but it had to be an interview. God bless!
2015 WRX C-Light Install Difficulty and Helpful Info
Переглядів 6 тис.6 років тому
Done with MORIMOTO C-lights. Overall install time is about 6 hours if you're like me and have never done it before. If you're tentative about ANYTHING, just ask someone for help. Better asking for help than breaking something important. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button! God bless!

My headlights are working but one turn signal won’t work
Dude this video is horrible there’s not enough e girl twitch streamer music in the background
Hey DJ! Good video! Is it okay to include it in compilation? Credited as always! Stay safe
Is that a functional location??
Why do a lot of UA-camrs feel the need to not only add ridiculously bad music to their instructional videos, but add it at such an annoying volume that it interferes with being able to hear what they are saying. I’ve never posted a video to YT but I’ll bet there’s a button to click it a box to check that says “Add Music to your video” so it seems like a good idea when posting a new video. It’s not. Is it supposed to make the video more enjoyable? It doesn’t. The music on this video is so annoying that I’m outta here.
Lose the music
The music is too loud I can barely hear you what you’re saying!😂
My filter is stuck solid after I let the dealership do the oil service when it was having its 15,000 service, now I can't get it off, used a strap removal tool and that snapped, tried other filter removal tools none of which worked. BUT I've just seen a great tip from a harley davidson tech, you get your normal filter removal tool, the one that slips over the top of the filter, you drill two holes into this directly in line with one another either side of the nut, you then use a drill and socket to fit two roof screws, metres sheet screws /bolts, this will stop the tool spinning on the filter and will remove the most stubborn of filters without all the mess.... Hopefully 🤞 just waiting for my screws to be delivered to try it out
I get some close calls in the bowl, people take different lines and it can get hairy. Good luck next year.
Hey Brian, I think I remember seeing you at the penguin event this past September at NHIS. I was in the race practice group; not sure which group you were in. My riding has much since improved. I didn't track-out properly due to the guy passing me (who is an insanely fast racer and fishtail instructor). The camera doesn't show my view but I could see him well before he comes into frame. Penguin holds stricter passing zones than fishtail, but in this run group they allowed passing in any area. Ride safe out there.
@@DJRides I'll be looking for you. I'm anxious to start again.
Quick tip.. you can always position the wrench/bar etc on the nut so that when applying force you are pushing DOWN. 2:05 he has the wrench at like 1:30/2 on the clock, he could rotate it to like 9 on a clock face that way when he applies force he would be pushing the bike DOWN in to the stand, rather than potentially lifting it up off the stand. Just a tip.
nice!! so you put it in the oven at 225 for 8 minutes ?
I done it mate but how the f i put it back now!!!!
🙌🏾 thank you
Your video documents the First Rule of Motorcycle Riding: " If the other drivers CAN do something stupid, they WILL do something stupid." Great footage, DJ - Thank You!
Should have collected some mirrors on their behalf.
Couldn’t get the switchback turn signal portion to work today and something happened to where the driver side ended up going dim
Check your connections. If the switchback portion isn't working then the alligator clips might not be attached well enough to the original directional wire. And usually the light going dim is a sign of a weak connection, too; I have to move mine around sometimes (unplug and replug) to get a good connection. Hope this helps
DJ Rides watched your video more in depth and finally figured it all out ! Thank you 🙌🏼🤘🏼
Less or no music for tutorials like this.
Music too loud
Dope video bro! I’m new to riding and loved the video!
Thanks bro, like you I couldn't find a video showing the install with the new drivers.
Good video with some helpful comments 👍🏾
hey can i have your email address?
Bro FYI. Your front tire seemed to be mounted in reverse (dangerous in rainy days)
Sport bike tires have sipes that go a different direction it’s just how they all are ( most especially the Q3s)
No need to loosen the axle block adjusters. Apart from that excellent video.
Dude I think I know you 😂
Yo please if you can help I have morimoto c lights and prism halos with the morimoto XBT Blue tooth controller I’m so confused on the wiring and getting very hesitant to do the install any help would be appreciated. Iv has these parts om the side for months now I really want to install them ASAP!
CrAzYPrOdUcTiOn786 I don’t have any experience with those sorry. Wish I could help but I’ve only done what’s in this video.
this was very helpful to me did not no where the yellow and white wire went thanks bro
Come back to UA-cam! D:
R u from New Hampshire if u r i live Warner all the environment seems very familiar
This kind of riding can lead to broken skulls, broke jaws, broke femurs and death...
Found this video to see how well of a job your body mechanic did. Wow! Amazing
Appreciate the honesty in the timing!
Hey mate, is it OK to feature your clip in a my chanel for educational purposes (so-called temporary copyright.)? You can stop me from using your content at any time and it will be deleted immediately. It will be credited in the description & comments section with your name. Thanks, MM
thanks for posting!
is everything still holding up well? any problems?
dank meme the only thing that occasionally requires to be jiggled/reconnected is the power connection for the c lights . Other than that everything works great! Been through snow and rain storms and held up so far!
Less music
Can I use this in my compilation? I'll credit you in the description with a link to the video. I'm working on a return to my account :)
You passed the attitude test with flying colours. I have been pulled over multiple times (wheelies, speeding, breaking road rules) and I always straight up with the office and admit that I am stupid (without admitting to breaking the law) and I have been let go every single time. Well done mate.
God bless your soul for taking the time to make this video. I appreciate your input on all the aspects of the project that were challenging. I attempted this mod about six months ago. I had the headlights off the car, and then simply could not get the fuckers to seperate. Spent the whole weekend on that step, and finally had to give up and put the car back together for work in the morning. Although, I am looking forward to giving it another shot once this quarter is over and finally have time to work on it again. Anyways, great video!
The video is freezing up
I've got an 86 riva 80cc
You could have left the Quads on there?
Ayyy sounds crazy, been debating on selling my R400s for these. And Hi from NH as well!
Nice video man! I have definitely seen this car around. I recognize the area where this is filmed, I don't live too far from there 😄
Ricer haha (don't take it in a bad way)
None taken! I'm not gonna try to pretend it isn't a pretty rice mod lol. Thanks for the comment! God bless
Good video mate. Good way if nobody is able to help out.
Thanks man!
Pretty cool man, Toby is real cute too
Thanks! He is a cute doggo :)
Nice film! I really loved how kinda different this was from other shorts, making the film in the perspective of a dog! Awesome stuff! Could you possibly check out my short film on my channel, i'd appreciate it a lot! :)
Thanks! Will do!
Sounds so clean love it! Need to do a fly by video
just a minor comment: "never" pull a socket or wrench or whatever "up" you said you'd lift the bike off the stand, well, thats because you started pulling "up"... if you start pressing down, you have more force and everything stays more stable... that's how us mechanics do it where ever possible
Why are you watching this if you're a mechanic lol
cause I was searching for quicker ways to change my wheels. endurance style or newer bike solutions... I searched "motor quick wheel change" and just started clicking vids... I have a 1998 Suzuki Srad on the track and was looking for ways to alter things so it takes less time and effort to change from dry to wet wheels. Newer bikes tend to have faster, easier ways to do it... Simple example is a high mounted rear caliper that stays on its place instead of a low mounted caliper that falls down... I finally found a decent endurance pitstop from a stock team. They did it the way I already thought it was doable and I adapted my front paddockstand and fender... Now front wheel change from 7 to about 4 min... Rear wheel also went way easier, but not timed yet... Also, a good mechanic is interested in new or other ways to do things. Why else would would you take courses or does your employer make you to follow them.. That's also one of the reasons I watch thousands of mech and tech vids on youtube. Even if it's something I already seen or know. Knowledge is repetition and standing open for others ways... But I understand it seems a bit funny for a mechanic to watch a basic vid like this one. As pointed out by others, it's a decent DIY vid, but there are points to improve he doesnt know about. Like pressing the lever down vs pulling it up... Turn "loose" all bolts before jacking it up... (that way you can turn your wheel at the front to easier remove caliper bolts)
noone noticed he says 33mm socket the first time then mumbles 32 mm socket...which is it lol!!!?????
lillnemo1 Good tips, thanks 👍🏾
@@matthewhanzlick6785 it's actually a 32mm socket, he doesn't know what he's talkin'
